A Decade of Impact: Celebrating 10 Years of Global Sustainable Fashion Week
As we look toward 2026, the National Fashion League Hungary Association is proud to announce a historic milestone: the 10th Anniversary of the Global Sustainable Fashion Week (#GSFW). For a decade, GSFW has served as a vital bridge between traditional craftsmanship, rigorous science, and avant-garde circular design, establishing itself as Central Europe’s premier platform for ethical fashion.
Under the presidency of Dr. Gabriella Mányi Walek, GSFW has grown from a regional initiative into a global movement. “Our mission has always been to prove that high fashion and deep responsibility are not just compatible, but essential to each other,” says Dr. Walek. “As we celebrate ten years of progress, we are not just looking back at our achievements, but paving the way for the next decade of systemic change.”
The Jubilee Year: 2026 and Beyond
In 2026, GSFW is expanding its reach through several key initiatives:
- GSFW EduPlatform: A newly established global educational hub designed to foster knowledge-sharing between academic institutions, researchers, and the industry.
- National Roadshow: A year-long series of professional workshops and roundtables held across Hungary in collaboration with key industry partners.
- The 10th Anniversary Main Event (September 2026, Budapest): Our hallmark International Conference and exclusive Eco Fashion Show, featuring visionary designers from five continents.
